History of the Ikoma Tribe

During my time abroad, I lived in the Mara region of Tanzania with a host family. My host mom, Agnes, is an incredibly strong and driven woman who deeply cares about preserving the culture of the Ikoma tribe. As a parting gift I created two identical booklets filled with information about the Ikoma tribe- one I would keep and the other is at the Ikoma Cultural Center in Nyichoka Hills, Tanzania. This way, any visitors not fluent in Swahili would get a very small glimpse into the Ikoma tribe's roots.
